Iron Half Moon linen
Iron half moon is an iron black naturally dyed fabric with dabu printed rotating one inch half moon designs.
This fabric is a light-medium weight linen. As is characteristic of linens, it is breathable, has a beautiful drape and casual feel. It has a slight initial stiffness which helps with sewing and then softens when washed. It’s perfect for a wide range of projects including lightweight summer jackets, shirts, dresses and the making playful home accessories.
Fabric width = 112cm
Price is for 0.5m and fabric is sold in 0.5m increments so if you want 1m please purchase 2 etc. Most of the fabric is in 5m lengths but some have been cut short. All fabric sections will be uncut where possible.
As this fabric has been hand printed on 5m lengths, the very corners are pulled to keep the fabric taut on the printing table. Please be aware as the grain of the fabric will be distorted slightly in these areas. Please also be aware this fabric is hand printed and naturally dyed, so some variations in colour can occur and there can be some marks due to cross contamination from the printing table. These things are part of story of the fabric and cannot be avoided.
